World Theatre Day 2026
This play is structured on the elements inspired by one of India’s oldest theatre forms, the Perani Jagar of Goa. Sindaborchi Kaani reflects on the rapid pace of urbanisation and how it is alarmingly reshaping our communities and ways of life.
Researched and written by Goa’s eminent folklorist and Padma Shri awardee Shri Vinayak Khedekar.

Our founder member, Dr. Saish Deshpande, was invited by Goa College of Music as a Resource Person for a session on "Academic Writing for Researchers in Performing Arts".
The initiative was benificial for Researchers as well as Faculty.

One-day workshop on Introduction to the āṅgika-abhinaya of the Nāṭyaśāstra.
The participants will be able to learn about the concept of Nāṭya in Indian performing arts and the key aspects of the āṅgika-abhinaya.
The sessions will be conducted by
Dr Yogita Chhatre, Ms Gautami Khandeparkar and Ms Vaishnavi Joshi under the guidance of
Dr Saish Deshpande.
अज्ञात कथा Agyat Katha
Agyat Katha aims to honor Goan performing traditions and has been designed incorporating the structure of the Katha Gaayan (story recitation forms) , along with few identifiable conventions of Indian theatre and dance forms. Agyat Katha reflects a reimagined episode from the Lok-Mahabharat while embracing the collective nature of the storytelling tradition to give it a contemporary resonance.
